1. Look at the appearance of the basin faucet

After the basin faucet is ground and polished, the surface should be plated with nickel or chromium to prevent oxidation of the basin faucet. After nickel or chromium plating, a medium-sized hydrochloric acid test is performed on the basin faucet. After the test, the plating layer should be free of rust. It is understood that only basin faucets that pass the neutral salt spray test can be shipped.

When consumers buy, it is best to place the faucet faucet in a place with sufficient light to observe. The surface of the faucet faucet should be as bright as a mirror, without any oxidation spots, scorch marks, no pores, no blisters, no leak plating, uniform color ; No burrs and sand grains are touched by hand; after pressing the faucet with your finger, the fingerprints will spread out quickly, and it is not easy to attach dirt.

2. Turn the handle of the basin faucet

Common spool faucets have steel ball spools and ceramic spools. The steel ball valve core has a good resistance to pressure, but the disadvantage is that the rubber ring that acts as a seal is easy to wear and will soon age. Compared with the steel ball valve core, the ceramic valve core is more heat-resistant and wear-resistant. At the same time, the ceramic valve itself has good sealing performance, so it can achieve a high number of resistance openings and will not cause the water nozzle to drip due to the valve core wear. The faucet with ceramic spool is more comfortable and smooth to the touch, and it opens and closes quickly.

Since the spool is inside the basin faucet, consumers cannot see the spool when purchasing, but consumers can simply judge whether the spool is good or bad according to the feel when turning the handle. Generally speaking, consumers turn the handle up, down, left, and right. If they feel light and no blockage, it means that the valve core is better.

3. Recognize the brand

Finally, consumers should go to regular markets and supermarkets to buy brand taps. Branded commodities have the manufacturer's brand identity. Informal or substandard products are often only pasted with some paper labels, even without any marks. The faucet manufacturer's brand logo, quality guarantee and after-sales service card should also be included in the basin faucet box.

4. Identify the faucet quality test book

Generally speaking, consumers can use the method of weight estimation to identify when buying. Brass is heavier and harder, and zinc alloy is lighter and softer. However, relevant experts of the main materials department of Koda Decoration believe that the quality of the basin faucet should not be judged by weight alone, "because some faucet manufacturers can increase the thickness of the basin faucet or add other metal materials, they can also make the basin faucet more difficult weight". Consumers are better off requesting a product test report from the sales staff. If the test report determines that the product is qualified, then "there is no problem."

In addition, consumers should choose a more durable integral cast basin faucet. The overall cast basin faucet sounds more dull when tapped. Consumers can judge whether the basin faucet is cast as a whole by tapping the basin faucet when purchasing.

5. See the water flow

When buying, consumers should try to choose a basin faucet with a bubbler, and feel the water flow with their hands. The water flow is soft and foaming (water flow bubble content) is rich, indicating that the bubbler is of good quality. The bubbler generally has six layers, usually composed of a metal mesh cover (partly plastic). When the water flows through the mesh cover, it will be cut into a large number of small water columns with air in between, so that the water will not splash around.
